I am not a young person
I am not a middle aged person
My label is senior citizen
Senior: a high ranking person in our country
I have climbed the ladder of success
My ladder only has a few rungs
Many freshmen, sophomores and juniors have surpassed me
Do I feel diminished
No I’m Ok
Athletics…..I’m Ok
Building, remodeling……I’m Ok
Driving, motorcycling….I’m Ok
Gardening, tree trimming…..I’m Ok
In fact almost everything I do is just Ok
That is just fine with me…..I’m Ok
